Bayside Lodge Garden Route B&B is a 5 bedroom four star graded Bed & Breakfast perfectly positioned in a quiet residential area of Plettenberg Bay just 300m/3 minute's walk to Robberg 5 blue flag beach. Since taking over Bayside in March 2014, live-in owner/managers Bernie and Adrienne have created a friendly atmosphere which is both warm and elegant. Personal attention and exceeding expectations are the hallmarks of this popular lodge ranked number 1 Bed & Breakfasts on Trip Advisor. Nestled in a secluded corner of the garden is a sparkling saltwater swimming pool with umbrellas and six comfortable pool loungers. The well-established garden is a tranquil place to relax and watch the wide variety of birds visiting the bird feeders and bird baths. Bayside's comfortable double volume guest lounge with a fireplace is perfect for relaxing and browsing through books or planning your next holiday. There is a large flat screen television with full DSTV satellite channels and DVD player, a library as well as board games. Sun downers are enjoyed at the bar or on the patio which also has a barbecue which guests are welcome to use. Bayside's four suites are all different with their own individual theme and feel offering various options for guests. The three suites upstairs in the main house include Honeysuckle King or twin which has a Jacuzzi spa bath and shower in the en suite bathroom, Harmony King or twin which is our biggest suite with its own sitting room and single bed and Sunkissed which offers two King or twin bedrooms and one adjoining bathroom – perfect for a small group or family. Finch Cottage which is is located in the garden near the swimming pool has it's own entrance, a small kitchen/sitting room with a double divan bed as well as it's own patio and barbecue. There is a queen size bed and large walk in shower with seat and a separate toilet. It offers total privacy and can be booked without breakfast. If all three suites in the main house are booked for a group or family of 8 guests, they will have exclusive use of the downstairs inside main house as breakfast can be served at Finch Cottage. All suites have smart flat screen televisions with Netflix/You Tube etc, small fridges, tea/coffee making facilities, cookies, bathrobes, bathroom amenities, hair driers, electronic safes, ceiling fans, under-carpet heating, electric blankets, and carafes of sherry. There is off-street parking for all our guests inside our electric gate and the property is monitored by CCTV. We provide a reasonably priced 24-hour laundry service as well as beach bags, towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, picnic baskets and barbecue sets.
